Im a 19 year old college freshman(about to turn sophmore) who dates a 17 year old high school senior.We started dating in July and met on Myspace.At first, I thought that it was ok to date her, but then some of my co-workers at work told me that it was pushing it a lil' as far as the age.I really like this girl so I was wondering if I really am too old to date her.

A 2 year age difference isnt going to really matter since she's going to be 18 soon anyway. You are not too old for her I could see it if you are 19 and she was 14 then yes, but how are your coworkers saying you're pushing the age thing when she's only 2 years younger and is going to be 18 since the legal age of consent is 16 so she's over that by a year anyway. I would hold off on the sexual contact because since she's still under 18 the law can still get you so be careful in how you conduct yourself.

BTW...Your coworkers need to get a life and who you date isnt any of their buisness.

My brother was twenty when he met his seventeen-year-old girlfriend. They later married. She got married right out of high school. Then she got sick of being married, got up, and left. If you're going to date a high schooler, take the relationship slow, so that she can grow up. People tend to change quite a bit the first few years out of high school. I know I did and so did a lot of people I know. Just make sure you let her grow up before you do anything too drastic.
